Cuyana, Fall Forever Pieces
Have you been over to the Cuyana site recently? Their new fall arrivals are nothing short of perfection. I had the chance to stop in the store when I was in San Francisco last month and let me tell you, I want everything. They have such beautiful pieces for the fall. They are not only luxurious, but truly things that you will have and wear forever. I'm all about their "fewer, better" philosophy and I'm making an effort to implement it not only in my closet, but in my life too. Take a peek over there when you have a free moment. Do not miss their wool belted vest or wool coat. If you have been looking for a few forever pieces, these are it.

The fact that I hoard vests is starting to really come in handy. I scored this camel vest way back this summer during the Nordstrom sale and I've been wearing it with just about everything. It's become a staple for me now as I dress the bump, but it's just as good sans bump. The camel color is perfect as it complements an all black look (coming soon) and looks killer with chambray or any button down that you can imagine. If you decide to go with my vest, just be sure to size down—it runs big. I've also linked a few other camel vest options below for you to check out. Also, this Old Navy tunic is now less than fifteen bucks with lots of sizes available—go get it.

Pick of the Week: Plaid Dress

Plaid dress, BB Dakota dress

I found this gem while perusing the new markdowns over on Shopbop. A plaid shirtdress is ideal for the fall and even better, it's on sale. The oilslick (blue plaid) is currently 30% off and the wine (pictured above) is under $100. Not bad at all. Wear this dress with these booties or these flats for an easy fall-friendly outfit. BB Dakota has an insane selection of plaid right now, so make sure and take a look. I especially love this plaid coat, this wrap jacket, and this drapey coat. All the layers, people.

I want to thank everyone for all their kinds words on our exciting news. We are pretty pumped and the sweet comments made it even better—you guys are the best. I'll be back on Monday with another prego approved outfit and you better believe there's a vest involved.

Maternity Style, Plus one
Things are going to get a little bit bigger around here—literally. We are expecting a baby in early February and could not be more excited...
Maternity Style, Plus one
How to dress while pregnant, Maternity style
I've started to transition maternity wear into my daily rotation and have found a few really great pieces that I plan on wearing throughout my entire pregnancy.

My plan for dressing the bump is to keep it easy, comfortable, and polished. I'm hoping to add a few versatile pieces (like this dress) that can be layered or worn solo. So far, Gap maternity has been a real savior. Their denim and dresses are super comfortable and the fit is outstanding.

To no-one's surprise, this long vest will be a staple for me this fall/winter. In fact, any vest or long sweater that I can throw over a fitted top or tee is pretty much my jam.

My goal going forward is to continue to dress like I do now, but with room for one more. I'll be focusing on maternity style, but definitely plan on linking lots of non-maternity options too. This won't turn into a baby blog and I'm still planning on posting my Pick of the Week on Fridays. I'm new at this and I expect that getting dressed might get a bit tough, but that's what shoes and hats are for, right? Also, stay tuned for a few exciting upcoming posts. I'll be helping to judge the Fall 2015 AOL Beauty Awards  to help pick the best skin care products for the upcoming season. You don't want to miss it.

Long vest, Lulu's vest
The Fifth Label Vest

I always get asked where to find an inexpensive, long vest for the fall/winter. They are the most versatile pieces in my closet and I don't think I could live without them. You also don't need to spend a fortune to get a good one. This one is from Lulu's—they have a great selection of outerwear (including long, sleeveless vests) that will not bust your budget. Most of their gear is under $100 and they have a solid selection. I also love this trench coat and this long vest. More to come on Lulu's in October with the #BloggerswhoBudget crew...

See you back on Monday for a special announcement...

bloggers who budget, fall shoe trends, sole society boots
This month we are teaming up with Sole Society to bring you our favorite Fall Shoe Trends. Sole Society is one of my go-to spots for great looking, budget-friendly footwear. In my mind, there's nothing better than a comfortable and stylish boot for fall.

I'm wearing the Carson bootie in the fennel color. This boot is so easy to slip on and looks great with fitted pants. You can also wear these boots with your favorite summer dress and take it right into fall. I'm wearing my favorite pixie pants with the ever-so-comfy Old Navy tunic I keep raving about.

I know it's abundantly clear that I am obsessed with vests, but I've got another one for ya. This wool vest is from Anthropologie and it's so good. It layers beautifully over everything and is another key transitional piece that I'll be wearing for the next few weeks. In addition to charcoal, it also comes in red and a faint pink with fur trim.

These booties are so comfortable and not to mention, on sale for $45. They are selling out pretty quick, but if your size is sold out, keep checking because I've seen new sizes become available. Sole Society has such a great selection of fall boots and you don't want to miss the Skye, Ines or Micah. Be sure to head over and see how all the #BloggerswhoBudget girls styled their favorite fall shoes.
