Pick of the Week: The Everlane Short Sleeve

Friday, December 19, 2014

Found: The perfect cropped, boxy short sleeve shirt for $48. Everlane can do no wrong in my book. They are a one-stop-shop for modern basics that won't crush your wallet. This shirt has an amazing shape that can be worn with anything. Just picture this with your favorite pair of slouchy, ripped denim or paired with a swingy skirt. I could go on, but you're just going to have to trust me on this one. It's the perfect shirt.

Lucky for us, it comes in three colors.

p.s. If you still need a last minute gift or two, take a look at these {under $100} or here {under $50}

See you on Monday,

Last Minute Gifts: Under $100

Wednesday, December 17, 2014

Not to alarm anyone, but Christmas is just one week away. If you are still on the hunt for a few awesome gifts that won't break the bank, look no further. All the items above are under $100 and most of them are under $50 {click the + to shop from the collage}.

One of my favorite gifts under $100 are Rebecca Minkoff clutches. They come in an array of colors and prints that are guaranteed to impress even the biggest bag snob. If you love her clutches, you must take a look at her totes. How about that tote in the exclusive winter mint color? So perfect.

If you're looking to spend less than $100, C.Wonder accessories are for you. They have the most charming trinket trays, wine stoppers, and candles. My favorite is the Lovely Trinket Tray (pictured above).

When in doubt, give the gift of beautiful paper. Stationary is timeless and everyone needs to write a handwritten card from time to time. Rifle Paper Co. has the best selection of pretty stationary (and phone cases) that anyone on your list would love.

Time is running out, so do not forget that Shopbop offers free 3 day shipping and free returns. Now that's what I call a Holiday miracle.

Topshop Sweater (sold out, but love this option with a swingy skirt) / J.Crew Fluted Skirt (similar) / Vince Boots

The Holidays are less than two weeks away, which means it's time to nail down what to wear for parties and/or New Year's Eve. This month, we are styling our favorite Holiday Looks For Less {$75 and under}.

I branched out a bit from my typical pant routine and wore a black fluted skirt. I really like the shape of this sweater with a flouncy skirt for an easy, laid-back look. I bought my skirt on sale this summer, but this one (on sale for $72) is almost the exact same and would work perfectly with any slouchy sweater. This look is ideal for those times you don't feel like putting on a dress and just can't be bothered with fitted pants. Be sure to scope out the other #BloggersWhoBudget Holiday Looks for Less and link-up your look below.

Last Minute Gifts: Jewelry {$50 and Under}

Friday, December 12, 2014

In lieu of my Pick of the Week today, I've put together a few of my favorite and affordable jewels that are perfect for gifting. If you're like me and still finishing up last minute gifts, let's not forget about the bling. Whether you need to grab a little somethin' for your mom, sister, closest girlfriend, or yourself (not judging), there are more than a few fantastic pieces out there.

All the jewels above are less than fifty bucks {click on the + to shop} and some are even under thirty. I've had my eye on the Madewell Pendant Necklace for awhile and now that it's on sale, I might have to snag that gem. Delicate jewelry is always on my list. The Gorjana Vista Studs and Tulip Earrings are my favorites.

There is another Last Minute Gift Guide in the works, so stay tuned. Also, the Bloggers Who Budget Collab returns on Monday. It's now a link-up, so be sure to swing by and share your look with us. We are styling our favorite Holiday Looks For Less {$75 and Under}. Don't miss it.

If you want it a bit oversized like mine, go up one size. I also really love this plaid shirt and this popover top. Scroll down below to link your festive look with us. The Five Best Lace Holiday Dresses

Five Best Lace Holiday Dresses

1 / BB Dakota Rylin Dress 2 / re:named Lace Dress 3 / Diane von Furstenberg Zarita Lace Dress 4 / Whistles Winona Allover Lace Dress 5 / BB Dakota Yale Fit and Flare Dress

Nothing says Holiday more than a gorgeous lace dress. Finding one that has a great fit and works for your budget can be tricky. These five lace dresses are Holiday party approved and can also be worn to any wedding or formal event. Even better is that two of the five dresses are under $100.

The BB Dakota Rylin Dress is hanging in my closet right now. Guys, this one cannot be beat. The fit on this is super flattering (fit is true to size) and it's just barely over a hundred bucks ($106). This one will sell out, so act fast. In fact, all of the BB Dakota dresses are worth checking out. I can always count on this brand for modern, edgy, and wallet friendly finds.

My other favorite of this bunch is the Whistles Dress. This one is an investment. My favorite part about this dress is that stunning blue color and those amazing sleeves. You can't go wrong with any of these lace beauties. I'll take two please.
