Eva Chen + Nicole Richie
Eva Chen + Sophia Amoruso
Cassandra Grey + January Jones
Scenes from brunch
This is my very last round of Lucky FABB posts and recaps my first ever FABB. Here are my highlights of the trip.
Lucky Magazine Editor in Chief, Eva Chen hosted style conversations with Sophia Amoruso, Founder and CEO of Nasty Gal and Nicole Richie, Creative Director of House of Harlow 1960. You can read all about Sophia Amoruso on Forbes. She is a total bad ass entrepreneur and her story about how she built Nasty Gal is amazing. Nicole Richie dished on her personal style evolution and her love for 90's hip hop. Only she can pull off purple hair.
There were multiple break-out sessions throughout the afternoon on Day One. Trina Albus, President of Magenta Agency gave a fabulous talk on SEO and growing traffic. For me, this was the standout break-out session and it could have been two hours long. January Jones and Cassandra Grey, founder of luxury beauty website Violet Grey, shared some of their favorite beauty products and discussed their collaboration. I absolutely love the Briefcase Kit piece. I want everything.
The conference ended on Saturday with an amazing brunch outside at the SLS Beverly Hills. This was a great networking event, which is really the best part of any event for me. Meeting other bloggers from all over the country and discussing all the things that our non-blogger friends and family get sick of hearing about is key. Nikki from Bedazzles After Dark is a total gem and her style is amazing. Hallie from Corals + Cognacs is hilarious and her blog is a must follow for witty musings and her shoe collection is insane. Also, be sure to check out Amy's Vintage Closet for major vintage fashion inspo!
All in all, it was an amazing experience. The swag bag was pretty ridiculous too. Until next time, Lucky FABB...
