Weekend Recap

Monday, June 18, 2012

Happy Monday! What were you up to? Fill. Me. In.

I laid low for the majority of the weekend except for my boyfriend's graduation from his residency program. It was a perfect summer evening and took place at one of the most beautiful locations in the city. Right on the water with a view of the skyline and the sunset in the background. It was a really special night and I couldn't have been happier or more proud to be a part of it.
I wore my J.Crew lemon shift (similar here and here) and paired it with the turquoise bubble necklace  (similar here and here). I wore this same dress to a wedding in Florida in April and just can't get enough of it! I kept the rest of my jewelry pretty minimal since the bubble necklace makes such a statement. I did wear my Michael Kors watch, which is standard.

Keep up with me on Instagram @beckydelaware

Looking forward to catching up with everyone!

p.s. If you haven't stumbled on it already, Shopbop is having a huge summer sale!

I've got my eye on this dress and this top.

Okay, so my mug finally made the blog. This may be my first step toward world domination - I think. I am petitioning for a "man's corner" or a "dude column", or something along those lines. I need to discuss topics such as "are mustaches back in full force or just a fad?" and "how wide should my lapel or tie be?". Because as any man knows, your tie should be no wider than your lapel. Mine is 2 1/4 inches. My lapel, that is.

Just give me a chance - I won't let you down.

Anyway, you're beautiful. I love you.
