Sorry for the absence yesterday, but I'm still catching up from our quick trip to Colorado. My fiance had a work conference in Vail over the weekend. I swear, he always gets invited to amazing locations for work related conferences or courses. When he mentioned there was a conference in Vail during ski season, I decided that I was definitely tagging along...
It was a lot of traveling for two days, but totally worth it. I hadn't put on a pair of skis since a family trip to Vermont in high school, so when it actually came time to ski I was nervous terrified. I managed not to kill myself or anyone else and we were lucky enough to have most of the day to ski on Saturday. Vail is absolutely beautiful and I hope to make another trip back someday. In the meantime, I'll be limping around and elevating my legs. My calves may never recover.

I totally understand what you mean! I'm going on a ski trip with my husband and some of our friends in a few weeks and it's been long enough since my last ski trip that I'm a little worried I'm going to break myself!
