This Sunday my fiance and I decided to finally visit the Cleveland Museum of Art. We live five minutes away and there really is no excuse for us not to check it out. The sun was shining and we were up for a little daytime adventure. Sunday afternoon means I want to be comfortable, but its not possible to roll into a museum wearing sweats. I guess technically that is OK, but not OK. You get me?
I wore my favorite broken-in boyfriend jeans, a gingham blouse, and black vest. I think I wear my BB Dakota vest just as much as I wear boyfriend jeans and that is really saying something. When I wear gingham prints, I try and wear something slightly edgy to balance out the preppy vibe. That's where the black vest comes in. I love the faux leather trim + uneven hem, which really give it some serious edge. The Report booties have changed my life + I wear them with everything.
You may be wondering why I am laughing so hard in the second picture... I tend to get very excited when the sun is out. Only twenty three days until the first day of spring!

I love those earrings. For whatever reason, I just can't rock the boyfriend jeans... I always feel like I look like a frumpy old lady. Basically, the opposite of how you look.
This look definitely says "hey, I'm cultured and I like to go to museums". xx
WAIT - I need that plaid shirt. It's so in for fall 2013!!
