Rehearsal Dinner Dress Options

Rehearsal dinner dress options

I'm having some serious trouble deciding on a rehearsal dinner dress and I need your help.

I've ordered all the dresses above (including #3 in pink) and have tried them all on except #3 (crossing my fingers Shopbop delivers today).

I just assumed I would wear an ivory dress to my rehearsal dinner, but now I'm leaning against it. I have no idea if that's breaking a really important wedding law, but hear me out. How likely am I going to wear an ivory dress again over something with color? Not to mention, I already own an amazing BB Dakota ivory crochet dress (now $29!) that I wore to my bridal shower.

Let's discuss.

#1 Kate Spade Rhys dress
Pros: Great fit and impeccably made. Looks way better on than on the hanger or in this photo. It's super flattering and can we worn to anything. Its also 60% off!
Cons: This is the same shape of almost every dress in my closet.

#2 Mcginn Marie Wrap dress
Pros: The faux wrap look is super elegant and perfect for a rehearsal dinner. I also don't have anything like it in my closet.
Cons: Doubtful it's as flattering on as #1 and the color is oyster (an ivory-grayish color). It could wash you out depending on skin tone.

#3 ONE by Naven Siren dress
Pros: Vibrant and beautiful while still formal enough for a rehearsal dinner. This could also be worn again and in so many different ways.
Cons: Is it too bold for a rehearsal dinner? Also can't tell if the slit is too risque.

I'd love your feedback.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

I like #2 and #3. You're the bride, if you want to wear pink then I think you should! #1 is nice but it's a safe choice.

I wore white to my rehearsal dinner and wouldn't have had it any other way. But now I'm left with a white dress I'll probably rarely wear or even worse never wear again. So aside from a white dress, I like the Kate Spade dress. It's classically pretty!

I love one! It's so classic and evening perfect. I also love 3 and think it would be so pretty in pink. I have decided to part with white for my rehearsal so my white on the wedding day really stands out and I think there is nothing wrong with wearing color prior to the day itself:)! Good luck choosing!!
