I have officially resurfaced from our wedding + mini-moon.
It took me a lot longer than I thought it would to get back to blogging, but ya know what? The break was awesome. Instead of blogging, I have been doing paperwork for my new job (not fun), writing thank you cards like a boss and guess what? I started a wedding scrapbook. If you know me at all, you probably just spit out your coffee or v+t. Arts and crafts aren't exactly my thing. However, its going to be great for our wedding mementos as long as I don't staple my finger to anything.
After the wedding, we spent our mini-moon relaxing in Kiawah, SC. We stayed at The Sanctuary Hotel which, as you can see from the photos, is pretty unbelievable. Our days consisted of sitting in the sun, biking around the island and having drinks along the Ocean Course. From their award-winning food to the impeccable customer service, it rocked both our worlds.
Our wedding day was incredible.
Except for a slight mishap with the transportation to the ceremony (buses broke down. no casualties), everything was amazing. We even got so lucky to have 80+ degree weather for our outside ceremony and reception!
I will share wedding photos once I get them from our fabulous photographer Amy Rebecca.
Thank you to everyone for all your well wishes on our big day. It was even better than I imagined.

Kiawah is seriously one of my favorite places to visit! My family and I have always stayed at The Sanctuary {such a great hotel} and play golf at The Ocean Course {pretty views}. So glad that you're wedding and little mini-moon went well! Congratulations and best wishes Becky! :]
How gorgeous! We took a family vacation to Kiawah when I was very young, but it was one of my favorites. Can't wait to see photos from your wedding! i'm sure it was just beautiful.

Kiawah is so awesome! Great place for a quick getaway! Glad to hear y'all had a good time! Can't wait to see your wedding pictures!
Wedding transport mishap! When my bff got married the bus took the groomsmen to the venue and just totally forgot all of us bridesmaids and the bride at the hotel! The poor boys were standing outside in the botanical gardens in 30+ degree (C) heat while my poor bff was freaking out about the bus. Sounds like a common issue.
Love your photos though, it looks so bright and sunny there!
