Remember when it wasn't so cool to wear black and navy blue together? Me neither! I love this color combo and think it works so well together.
I cannot begin to describe how much I love the J. Crew tissue tees. I bought my first one at the J.Crew Style Sessions and just recently ordered another one in the heather oatmeal color (on sale). These are the absolute perfect tees for layering. I went down one size and would recommend going down if you want it snug like mine.
We must address the pants. I bought these Theory Belisa 2 pants on major markdown at Bloomingdales over the Holidays. The stretchy fabric is unbelievable and they do not wrinkle. Ever. I also love that they aren't too tapered at the ankle, which means all flats, brogues, and sneaks look good with these pants. Mine are in the "mandatory" fabric and no longer available, but these are also an amazing stretchy pant.
Speaking of brogues, these Dolce Vita pair (similar here and here) are beyond comfortable and are my favorite alternative to a flat. They have a great menswear feel to them and the navy blue works with everything. Same goes with the +Madewell sleeveless tunic (similar and on sale). I wear this under sweaters, alone in the summer, and over my favorite said tissue tees in the winter.

Black + White is still my favorite, but Black + Blue comes in a very close second.
