I cannot believe it has taken me months to finally do a post (or two) on my wedding. Better late than never, right? Honestly, the bridesmaid dresses were one of my favorite parts about the wedding and I'm happy I decided just to go for it.

Do you remember this post? After seeing Molly Sims' beautiful, multi-colored bridesmaid dresses on Pinterest, I knew I wanted something similar for my wedding. My goal was to find dresses that were elegant and cohesive without being matchy-matchy.

I didn't have a particular color scheme in mind for the dresses and never picked "wedding colors". Luckily for me, I lived close to a +Nordstrom bridal department during the wedding planning process and they were beyond helpful. From keeping me organized to emailing my bridesmaids, they really helped make it happen.

After trying on an endless number of dresses in a multitude of colors, I decided on golds + neutrals for my outdoor Fall wedding. It was muy importante for my girls to like the dress and feel comfortable wearing it, but I was also looking to mix different fabrics, textures, and silhouettes. I would never have been able to execute my idea if it weren't for my unbelievably amazing bridesmaids.

If you're thinking about doing mismatched dresses for your wedding, just go for it. It was a lot of work and I definitely spent more time on the bridesmaid dresses than I did on my own dress, but it was an absolute blast and totally worth it. I also have to credit my amazing photographer, Amy Rebecca for these lovely photos. My florist, Patty from Petals Inc, also did a wonderful job with the flowers. From the dresses to the decor, everything worked beautifully together and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out.

I love this!!! All their dresses were gorgeous and they'll truly be able to wear them again. You're such a good bride for worrying about their dresses more than yours! Haha

I prefer mismatched dresses to having all the same ones especially when there is a large bridal party! This is such an awesome combination of dresses and they really look great together!

I really like the way all the colors work together not out shining any of the other dresses. Really nice selection.

Um...killing it! These are gorgeous and you all look amazing together! Did you choose them all for each of your girls, or give them a handful to pick from? They're all so elegant!
