Since moving to Charlotte last summer, one of our goals is to try and visit Charleston as much as possible. It's an easy three hour drive and is hands-down one of my absolute favorite cities.
We stayed at the Zero George for the first time and I highly recommend it. This elegant boutique hotel is tucked away in a gorgeous neighborhood surrounded by picturesque palmetto palms and includes plush landscaped courtyards. Charming is an understatement and I hope to visit this gem again very soon.

The rest of these photos were shot while exploring the city. We sipped coffee and took our time walking around the Battery, Waterfront Park, etc. You name it, we walked there. I never get sick of exploring this beautiful city and it gets better every time we visit.

You can't mention Charleston without talking about the food. It's amazing. I have to give Chassity from Look Linger Love a major shout out here because her Charleston City Guide kills it. I consult that thing every time I visit for restaurant recommendations, happenings, and new places to shop. We went to The Macintosh for the first time and absolutely loved it. If you go, be sure to order the Paloma Flower {Tequila, St. Germain, lime, grapefruit, basil), you won't be sorry. We literally just got back and have already started looking for weekends to head back down. It's just that good.
It's a busy week, but be sure to stop by for an amazing giveaway from a local Charleston organic beauty brand! You won't want to miss it. I'll also be sharing what I wear when traveling + exploring.
Hint: This tote is essential.
