Set Sail to Sanibel

set sail to sanibel, florida
In June I had the opportunity to sneak away to Sanibel, Florida to visit family. Sanibel is located just north of Naples on an expansive, beautiful white sand beach. It's known for its lush landscape, wildlife, and gorgeous shell beaches. Here are a few photos from my trip and believe it or not, I actually found that little turtle all on my own...

So many seashells by the seashore-- you know how that one goes. Seriously, the beaches are scattered with tons of beautiful shells. It's not a bad day strolling along the beach looking for your favorite one.

The sunsets aren't so bad either.

Sanibel is a great getaway spot for so many reasons. I especially love it because it's one of those places where you feel so far away. If you're looking for a low key destination with zero hustle and bustle, put Sanibel on your list. Best time to travel is early to late Spring and early Fall. The summers are super toasty with a chance of hurricane. No bueno.

Be sure to stop by on Monday because I'll be sharing my favorite summer beauty products on-the-go. It's quite the stellar collection of summer beauty, so do not miss it.
