Hello, March. This signifies an official end to #NoSpendFeb and I'm happy to say that we survived (Jaclyn and Kimberly). This may sound blasphemous, but it wasn't that hard. I won't say that it changed my life, but it felt pretty good. I definitely enjoyed shopping my closet and making more of an effort to recreate looks from what I already own. I also stumbled on a few awesome pieces that I could kick myself for not wearing more. The best part about the spending freeze was avoiding the impulse buy. It served as a nice fail-safe that forced me to stop and think before I bought yet another slouchy neutral sweater. Now, about the look...
Denim-on-denim is pretty easy and this look I shopped straight from my closet. When styling the canadian tuxedo, I prefer to have a light wash color on top to break it up a bit. I've been wearing hats a lot this season too because I'm definitely in a hair rut. I'll have to get back to you on that.
If you're thinking about a spending freeze, I highly recommend it. I also really enjoyed Kimberly's post on her recent shopping hiatus. Be sure to stop by tomorrow and definitely on Wednesday too because I've got some shopping news to share...
